Robert Parcell

Robert Parcell holds a Bachelor of Laws (UQ) and a Bachelor of Arts (UQ) and was admitted as a Solicitor in 1990.  Prior to joining MVM Legal in September 2010 as a Consultant, Robert was a Partner at Bradley & Co, a specialist insurance law firm in Brisbane’s CBD.

Robert has practiced exclusively in personal injuries law since commencing at Bradley & Co as a Trainee Solicitor in January 1988.  At Bradley & Co, Robert progressed from Article Clerk to Solicitor and then to Partner of that practice.  Robert has acted in a whole gamut of defendant personal injury litigation – he has acted for WorkCover Queensland and Self Insurers within the WorkCover scheme, for CTP Insurers and Public Liability Insurers.

Robert is an accredited personal injury specialist having attained a specialist accreditation in 1998 in his first attempt.

Robert is a current panel lawyer for Queensland Local Government WorkCare Scheme as well as acting for other insurance clients of MVM Legal.  Robert provides a range of legal services and expertise including:

• Defence of common law workers’ compensation claims;
• Acceptance or rejection of statutory claims for compensation and the management of those claim;
• Risk management, contracting arrangements and general insurance;
• Comprehensive advices on liability, quantum and evidence;
• Employment law advice with respect to management of injured workers;

Julien Fraccaro

Julien Fraccaro holds a Bachelor of Laws (SCU) and a Bachelor of Arts (ANU) and was admitted as a Solicitor in 1998.  Prior to joining MVM Legal as a Senior Associate, Julien worked in both the private and public sector focussing on personal injury litigation.

Julien has also worked as In-house Counsel with a large Queensland statutory authority providing a broad range of advice on statutory interpretation, freedom of information applications, and Q-COMP reviews and appeals, as well as developing several significant policies and training programes.   Julien is a current panel lawyer for WorkCover Queensland.

Robert Dunworth

Robert Dunworth holds a Bachelor of Laws (UNSW), Masters of Arts (Griffith University) and a Bachelor of Science (UQ) (double psychology), and has practiced in commercial and insurance litigation in Brisbane and insurance litigation in Sydney.  Robert is an Associate Member of the Australian Institute of Company Directors.

Robert assists Jamie and Damien in providing clients with expert, commercially pragmatic advice and service.  Robert acts in our commercial and construction group, predominately for corporate clients, of all sizes, and prides himself on providing easily understood commercially sensible advice.  He understands that our clients want options and answers.

Robert previously worked for single-state law firms each renowned as leaders in their fields, and has acted in a broad range of commercial and insurance litigation.  Robert provides advice across a range of areas including:

• Contractual disputes, including issues covered by what is now the Competition and Consumer Act;
• Risk management, including pre-contract and contract formation advice;
• Construction disputes;
• Directors and Officers disputes;
• D&O policy advice;

Rachael Sutter

Rachael Sutter holds a Bachelor of Arts and Bachelor of Law at Monash University.  Rachael was admitted as a Solicitor in 2005.  Rachael joined MVM Legal in November 2008 and has developed expertise in Statutory Claims including conducting Q-COMP Appeals, acting for Defendants in workplace health and safety prosecutions and acting on behalf of self-insurers.
